This is a quick little video showcasing how quickly it is possible to clone someone's hotel key if they leave it lying around. Now, I must emphasize, this is not ALWAYS going to be the result... many MIFARE Classic systems have been cracked in the past and their encryption keys are now well-known and included in a number of hacking tools. This Flipper Zero seen here is running the Extreme firmware which has many such default keys already programmed, and the hotel where we happen to be staying is not using hardened or updated keying for their credentials.

This is mostly a lesson to folk that it's generally advisable to keep your room key in your pocket, not laying around on a counter top or other setting where strangers could inconspicuously try to interact with it for a few seconds.
