Evan Smith just won his first Pro Tour event, and the way he did it looks almost boring. Big gaps, power hyzers, overstable discs, one repeatable speed. His game didn't start there. I worked with him on his backhand in 2023, and the part nobody talks about is what happened after: he had all these new shots and spent a while using them everywhere, including places he had no business using them. Then at Pro Tour Finals he told me he'd stopped forcing shots and started just picking the best one. That's the progression, and it's the same one you're going through.
