It is no secret, I love creating cosplays... and especially redesigns by the one, the only, the AMAZING Sunset Dragon.
Anyone who has spent more than a few minutes with me talking about cosplay will know that I am obsessed with her designs, so much so that I have made three of them to date and plan to do more in the future! I will sing her praises to anyone who will listen.
And when I was in Chicago for C2E2, representing Australia in the Crown Championships of Cosplay in Toph... which was a Sunset Dragon design... I had the absolute honour and privledge of not only meeting her, but hanging out and cosplaying with her. She also was kind enough to do an interview with me and I filmed it for all of you to enjoy.
They say never meet your idols, but Sunset Dragon certainly lived up to all the hype I had built in my head and I am honoured I can now call her a mate. We must get her (and her hubby) out to Australia at some point. She is a true inspiration to all cosplayers.
