What does it take to create an animated short film inside a production-style pipeline?
Our team began with an ambitious goal: to finish a short film in just two months. Very quickly, the project became a crash course in collaboration, planning, deadlines, and creative problem-solving.
Inside the Short Film Creation course, students experienced every stage of the process:
-Storyboarding and revisions
-Animatics and clean up
-Animation production
-Revisions and feedback
-Effects, compositing, and backgrounds
This project became a hands-on, studio-style production experience, giving students the opportunity to understand what it feels like to animate a full project as part of a team.
