Can you really drop a laser-guided bomb down the engine funnel of a moving tanker? In this video, we recreate one of the most extraordinary precision bombing feats using DCS World.
Inspired by footage from May 2026 showing US Navy F/A-18 Super Hornets releasing inert laser-guided bombs into the engine funnels of trespassing Iranian tankers in the Strait of Hormuz to disable them without harming their crews, we attempt to replicate the strike in DCS World and discover just how difficult it really is.
