The Core Mission: Rebuilding Through SolidarityConstructing Hope: Ukraine showcases the profound work of over a dozen multidisciplinary participants using their architectural skills to directly support rebuilding efforts.
The exhibition’s primary goal is threefold: to build deep global solidarity, to educate the international community about Ukrainian resistance, and to spotlight the critical role architecture plays in helping communities stay resilient through the most desperate times.A Hyper-Decentralized, Grassroots ApproachInstead of focusing solely on massive, top-down state infrastructure, the exhibition shines a spotlight on decentralized, grassroots initiatives operating both inside and outside of Ukraine. By focusing on local, community-led projects, the exhibition explores how flexible, agile design solutions can address immediate humanitarian needs while paving the way for long-term urban recovery.An Immersive, Multi-Layered Storytelling DesignCo-curated by Sasha Topolnytska, Ashley Bigham, and Betty with graphic design by Alona Solomadina), the exhibition was intentionally engineered to be as inclusive and accessible as possible.
