When we first started talking to Gabrielle Hamilton about her episodes of The Mind of a Chef, her excitement was contagious. She had one particular obsession with a napkin from Antica Trattoria Della Pesa with some subtle stitching on it. It quickly became everyone's obsession. We were able to visit and film at Rivolta Carmignani, located in Macherio outside of Milan, where such napkins are made. And it turns out, how the napkins are made is as beautiful as Gabrielle's infatuation.
