Sometimes you just cannot please customers. If they’re constantly upset or if they’re taking too much time, you may need to fire customers.

Essentially, you will be very apologetic that your CSA can’t please them. Offer a full refund and be nice. Let them know that you’re sorry your CSA did not work for them and hope that they find a program better suited to them. This can be done by email or phone; use whichever medium makes the most sense and is personable.

Invest the time you would have wasted with these lost customers in finding customers that work well with your farm’s mission and CSA program.
