Why does a TRS wired lav mic send it's audio to the left side only of a stereo track...because it's wired that way. The left side pin is wired to the microphone or 'hot' wire (red) and the ground is wired to the sleeve, leaving the right side pin with no wire connected to it. When this lav mic is plugged into a camera or recorder with a stereo trs input, the audio will only record on the left channel or mono.
