Pairing a needs-first framework with the power of artificial intelligence can open new frontiers in clinical care, research, and program development. This Grand Rounds will explore how AI can accelerate progress – sparking ideas, uncovering unmet needs, and streamlining implementation – to transform patient care.
Speakers:
Liviu Klein, MD, MS, is a professor of medicine in the Division of Cardiology at UCSF Health and director of the UCSF Advanced Heart Failure Comprehensive Care Center. His work aims to develop new diagnostic sensors, therapeutic devices, and artificial intelligence tools for patients with cardiovascular disease.
Shweta Motiwala, MD, MPH, is an associate professor of medicine in the Division of Cardiology at UCSF Health and director of Heart Failure Disease Management. Her work focuses on improving outcomes in heart failure through remote monitoring platforms, optimized therapies, biomarkers, novel devices, and expanded access to care.
Jin Ge, MD, MBA, is an assistant professor of medicine and director of Clinical AI in the Division of Gastroenterology at UCSF Health and the Division of Clinical Informatics and Digital Transformation. His research focuses on using clinical informatics, data science, and artificial intelligence to improve care for patients with liver disease.
Rush Bartlett, PhD, MBA, is co-founder and chief executive officer of Sluice AI. A 5X startup founder, he has trained and advised top healthcare companies, served in leadership roles at Stanford Biodesign and UCSF, and previously led Vynca Health, which has supported over 1 million patients.
