This video shows the Hovermap UAV lidar mapping payload developed by the CSIRO Autonomous Systems Lab being used to map a telecom tower in 3D. The map is generated with our SLAM algorithms as used for Zebedee so does not require GPS. The resulting point cloud can be used for tower audits. https://wiki.csiro.au/display/ASL/HoverMap
