HOUSTON - A two-vehicle T-bone crash occurred at the intersection of Pierce Street and Hutchins Street in Houston around 12:20 a.m. on April 3, 2026. A Toyota Corolla with five occupants and a blue Dodge Charger with one occupant collided, with Houston Police Department (HPD) investigating whether one vehicle ran a stop sign or if impairment was a factor. Multiple people were transported from the scene for medical evaluation; one passenger in the Toyota Corolla was pronounced deceased at the hospital, while the Charger’s driver sustained only minor injuries. HPD’s Vehicular Crimes Division, led by Sgt. Barrow, is handling the ongoing investigation.
