Mannequins in horror games are always the worst, and this playthrough proved my point. Today we are diving into Haunted Echoes, a new indie bodycam horror game I found on Steam that leans entirely into paranoia and atmosphere.
The premise here is that every single move you make is being recorded as you explore this abandoned, pitch-black house. The bodycam perspective combined with the heavy shadows makes every corner feel like a trap, and the mannequins scattered around definitely do not help with the tension. There are no cheap jumpscares here, just a constant, unsettling feeling that something is watching you from the dark while you try to figure out what is actually going on.
If you enjoy slow-burn psychological horror where the environment itself feels like the main threat, this one is really solid. Grab a headset and turn the lights off for this one.
