#donkeykong goes loose
So for the past couple months I've been co-directing, producing, and otherwise arranging a fantastic 16 track album dedicated to the incredible Donkey, Kong Country series and more! Besides collaborating with some of the best in our scene, I was proud to arrange a track off my favorite game that could be both vibey and heavy! You can hear a lot of nods to older 2010s djent as well as newer techniques pulled out of modern metal in general! As a kid this was actually the farthest I usually got in the game so I feel like this was the best song I could even hear!
Besides the music of course, big thanks to @Colbydude and Masikus and Bao, members of my band who of course cosplayed with me for our show at @OngakuOverdrive as this turned out to be a fun way to throw a lil story into the midpoint break!
