How hot does it REALLY feel for a dog trapped inside a car?
I decided to find out.
I put on a full fake fur coat, parked my car in direct summer sunlight, switched off the engine and sat inside as the temperature climbed towards **50°C**.
I could open the door whenever I wanted......A dog can’t!
In this episode of I put myself through the heat to demonstrate just how frighteningly dangerous a hot car can become — and I also walk **barefoot across scorching pavement** to experience what we expect our dogs’ paws to endure.
