"from blood and ash" by jennifer l. armentroutis is the trope-y, high fantasy, romance, action-filled book i needed in 2020. honestly? the back half of this book had me yeeting my phone to the other side of the room on more than one occasion so OF COURSE i had to scream about it here. i binge-read this in 24 hours ok.

slight spoilers in this video (although not really - technically, from what i've cobbled together doesn't quite given away much). i mostly just hope this is compelling enough for y'all to read it. get through the first 200 pages and enjoy the ride.
