Heart-touching experiences told by Hospice nurses and care providers who were there as their patients or family members took their last breaths.
People often see loved ones or beings moments before they take their last breath, reaching out with such joy and peace on their faces. Mentions of deceased family members or angelic beings communicating to them wanting to guide them home is not uncommon.
Some believe these are hallucinations from drugs or a result of the brain shutting down but others who have witnessed these experiences believe there is much more to it. It's less of wishful thinking and more about the data is showing us there is something more to it which needs more research rather than a simple dismissal of hallucinations.
These short stories are all from the Allnurses forums and can be found at https://allnurses.com.
