Karen's Near-Death Experience was reported in 1999 on c2c am. Karen was introduced as a guest to the show by Jeffery Long at www.nderf.org.

She was told by her spirit guides it was okay for her family to experience her loss and that that pain was part of their spiritual growth. Karen however felt otherwise and chose to come back and live for her son to prevent him from being on a painful path with a new mother. She didn't believe the spiritual beings were without empathy but rather coming from a much larger picture that we aren't aware of in this life.
