my @pivoequestrian has recorded a lot of things since I got it in June 2022, like, every ride I use in my transformation videos, groundwork and under saddle highlight reels, how I practice consent-based training and the before and after screenshots I share but I think this one might take the cake for the most unexpected.
I bought it two years ago because I knew it would be beneficial for me to be able to watch my sessions back to see things I need to work on (because it’s a rare day I have someone to take video for me) and track our progress but have also been able to use it on multiple occasions for remote lessons and found that I use it just as much to study Gus’s movement and look out for signs of subtle lameness.
it’s one of my favorite non-horsey, horsey purchases I’ve made!
p.s. nothing crazy happened after he ran out. he cantered down to his fly stuff on top of his blanket trunk next to the pasture where he patiently waited for me.
