In this horse riding lesson, I explain the Half Halt. The half-halt is not an easy concept to explain as there are many variances to it but if you are going to undertake dressage lessons or you are training a horse it is something you will need to understand. I show you how I started to teach myself to half halt and although it is not the only way to do one I found using this methodical process helped me find a place to start and then develop from there. If you are doing any dressage exercise you should be half halting before and after your exercises this prepares the horse for what you are about to do. I hope you enjoy my horse riding lessons.
