Postpartum depression common and most women are not spoken to about any hormone treatments - yet hormone levels, especially progesterone and estradiol, decline rapidly in the brain and body when a baby is born. As psychiatrist Dr Sue Varma and I discuss on this week’s podcast, it makes sense for hormones to be addressed first so you can see which symptoms improve.
