You probably recognize this world. The machines, the hunters, the feeling of hunting something bigger than you. What you might not know… is that this game isn’t staying single-player anymore.
In this video, I talk about a game many of us have already seen before — and why its transition into an MMORPG caught my attention. It’s familiar, but at the same time, it feels completely different now.
This video shares my thoughts and first impressions on Horizon Steel Frontiers, a newly announced MMORPG set in the Horizon universe, developed by NCSoft in collaboration with Guerrilla Games.
Horizon Steel Frontiers is a full-scale MMORPG for PC and mobile, featuring a persistent shared world, large-scale group battles, guild-style gameplay, and long-term progression. Instead of futuristic soldiers, players take on the role of old-school machine hunters, using bows, traps, and tactics to take down advanced robotic creatures.
This isn’t just co-op hunting. Players will exist together in towns and open areas, forming groups, joining guilds, and fighting massive machine threats in a shared MMO world.
