Once these little follows come around the corner and get over the surprise of a photographer in front of them they get on with business. Then it's easy to see how these Rockhopper penguins get their name.
One afternoon during our expedition with NGS Pristine Seas working in Chile's Cape Horn area, our DSO Joe decided to get off the boat and onto a small shingle beach to grab some footage of the local bird life. This is the result.
