So I wanted to make a full-length crossover video with a heroine and a villain. I LOVE this song (I found it from this incredible video youtube.com/watch?v=9910nSeIAqk Go watch it, it is breath-taking!!) and since I'd already told a subscriber I'd edit with Captain Hook more, I chose to make it with him and Ariel (I ship these two so much together xD).
STORY TIME:
- Ariel is exploring one day, and comes across Captain Hook's ship. She falls in love with him instantly.
- Triton finds out about her feelings for a human and is furious. But Ariel can't help her feelings, and begins to fantasise about what it would be like for her and Hook to be together.
- She continues to spy on the captain, and one day can't stand it anymore. She goes to Ursula, exchanges her voice for legs, and becomes a human.
- Hook sees Ariel on the beach and takes pity on her and invites her to stay on his ship for a while, just until she finds her feet (sorry, just had to throw that in there ;D).
- He is nice to her, but doesn't really see her as anything more than a poor helpless girl. She can't talk, so she can't tell him she loves him.
- (SPOILER!) One day she walks in on him and another woman. She watches as he proposes to his lover, and she accepts. Ariel is then devastated as Hook marries another woman.
Things you should know about this video:
1. Ignore Eric's hands. I kind of forgot while editing that Captain Hook has...well, a hook. Dx
2. Vanessa ISN'T Ursula, she's a totally separate person.
I really don't know what to make of this video, the more I watch it, the more I hate it. D:
Also I want to do two more villainxheroine crossover videos. One with Belle x Hades, and the other with Aurora x Frollo. I'm halfway through the Belle x Hades one but have NO idea how to finish it. :/ And I don't have a clue what song to use for the Aurora x Frollo one so any suggestions would be appreciated. :)

Theme: Anti-canon couples (hero/prince thinks heroine/princess only wants to be with him for his money/fame which causes them to fight and break up).
Story: I was trying to follow the theme, in that Eric begins to doubt his relationship with Ariel. He believes that she only used him as an excuse to become human. However this video is from Ariels perspective, she is hurt that Eric could think such things, and they keep fighting.
(!!!ARIEL/ERIC SHIPPERS LOOK AWAY WHILE I RANT MERCILESSLY!!!)
I think the idea of these two is very sweet, a mermaid falling in love with a human, but theyre just not realistic at all. I just cant take them seriously, knowing that theyre just a couple of teenagers who get married after theyve known eachother for three days. Oh wait...they DIDNT know eachother! They couldnt communicate properly so they only loved eachother based on looks. Like I said I think the idea of them is lovely, but it should have been better developed.

Theme: Two villains are in a passionate (take that however you will) relationship.
OMG...Making this was an experience, I can tell you... I dread to think how much time Ive wasted by procrastinating when it came to this MEP part. I signed up for this all the way back in APRIL! You have no idea how difficult it was to get inspired and motivated to do this! Im not entirely sure why it was such a challenge, considering that I managed to claim my favourite part of the song, along with two of my favourite villains, but I seriously just had no inspiration whatsoever.
But I knew I absolutely wasnt going to drop out, so I just threw together some (rather awful) manips, went with the timing of the song, and hoped for the best. And the weird thing is that when I rendered it and watched it back I...kind of liked it?! All that time spent fretting and banging my head against an imaginary brick wall, willing myself to get motivated, and at the end of it all I quite like this video.
