My part for FairyTaleMEPStudios' upcoming 'Bloody Valentine' MEP, hosted by the wonderful AmeliaBaggins! ^_^
Theme: A relationship where one person uses the other, the abused person however still loves them even though they're being abused.
Story: Pocahontas and Derek were in love, but their relationship becomes bitter when Derek is mean to Pocahontas. However, Pocahontas is still in love with Derek and remembers the good times they had.
I don't think I've ever edited these two in a happy crossover yet, and I don't think I ever will! They're so easy to edit in sad/dark MEP parts. ;D
For some reason, I really ship these two. Even though they're not a popular couple, I think they'd work. I think it's because Derek seems to say the wrong thing -- and when John Smith said the wrong thing ("savages") Pocahontas knew how to teach him and help him become a better person, which is what I think Derek ultimately needed (yes, Odette's method of leaving him made him mature but it could also have easily acted against him as well). Plus the manip ideas just seem to be endless for these two. XD
I also ship Derek/Anya, and I've got lots of ideas for a full-length love triangle involving Pocahontas/Derek/Anya floating around my head. Maybe one day you'll actually see a full-length crossover from me?! ;o

Theme: Two villains are in a passionate (take that however you will) relationship.
OMG...Making this was an experience, I can tell you... I dread to think how much time Ive wasted by procrastinating when it came to this MEP part. I signed up for this all the way back in APRIL! You have no idea how difficult it was to get inspired and motivated to do this! Im not entirely sure why it was such a challenge, considering that I managed to claim my favourite part of the song, along with two of my favourite villains, but I seriously just had no inspiration whatsoever.
But I knew I absolutely wasnt going to drop out, so I just threw together some (rather awful) manips, went with the timing of the song, and hoped for the best. And the weird thing is that when I rendered it and watched it back I...kind of liked it?! All that time spent fretting and banging my head against an imaginary brick wall, willing myself to get motivated, and at the end of it all I quite like this video.
