*Correction to video.. The motor is an AC motor so it's rotational direction will be the same no mater which way it was wired.
This video shows a common problem relating to a heating/hot water fault. The synchronous motor/valve head assembly are used to divert the flow of water in a heating/hot water system. These valves can and do very often just fail and can give issues such as.. No hot water but heating works. Immersion heater works but boiler/timer heating doesn't.
