Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was found dead with apparent trauma on Indianapolis' northeast side early Tuesday.

Around 2 a.m. Oct. 8, IMPD officers responded to the 5600 block of Wyckfield Way, near 65th Street and Binford Boulevard, for a reported death investigation.

There they found a man inside a home with apparent traumatic injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene, an IMPD spokesperson said in a statement.
