In this video I demonstrate how to make a high current AC stick welding machine using microwave parts, I do this by removing the secondary winding in the microwave oven transformer and rewinding it with fewer turns
I already have an arc welder but I wanted to build one which can kick out allot more current for welding thicker steel if you wanted one with less current you could use thinner wire with more turns and using only 2 transformers
