The video messed up recording this in high speed and I lost all of the audio so I just left it as is and did a voiceover explaining the recipe amounts. Hope you enjoy.

Home made salted caramel sauce for pancakes, waffles, ice cream, brownies, or any other recipes calling for salted caramel flavor.

I do all my cooking in cast iron, traditional salted caramel made in traditional cast iron, just like your great grandma used to make.

The recipe makes about 1-1/2 cups of finished salted caramel sauce:
Ingredients:
50g brown sugar (approx 1/4 cup)
50g granulated sugar (approx 1/4 cup)
70g karo syrup (50mL is approx 70 grams or almost 1/4 cup, slightly less)
127g heavy cream (125 mL is approx 1/2 cup or 127 grams)
75g unsalted butter, cubed
3g salt (about 1/2 tsp)

If you need a great cast iron pan, this is the one I use here: amzn.to/4237VS2
