I made up a single shot bolt action BB gun in .25 caliber. It fires Daisy 1/4" steel slingshot ammo. This one works off shop air at 120 psi. The main valve is a piston valve built in a brass plumbing tee. This is piloted by a hammer valve also made from brass plumbing parts. A steel hammer on a spring actuates the hammer valve when the trigger is pulled. The stock is wood, made from old fence boards glued together. The shape was cut out on the bandsaw and final shaping done with routers and sanders. The scope is an old Bushnell 3-7x .22 scope. It is on a steel mount that is welded to the air reservoir. At 100 psi it shoots in the mid 300 fps. At 120 psi, velocity is 380 - 395 fps. At 250 psi, velocity is around 500 fps.
