There was this dead hulk of an old PC to discard, so I wanted to have some fun rather than just binning it. A wine bottle and a fridge compressor were at hand. An air hose adapter was epoxied into the neck of the wine bottle. The bottle was connected to the compressor hose and placed inside the PC. The bottle burst at 260 psi. Slow motion was recorded at 480 frames/sec.
Anything involving the bursting of glass with high pressure air is very dangerous and must be performed in a controlled environment. Don't do this at home. I left the room and waited for the pop. In case of failure to pop, I have an air rifle.
