Description: Here is a quick look inside an inverter type microwave. These use a switching power supply instead of an MOT. The microwave oven weighs a lot less this way. This microwave oven is still good, so I did not disassemble it any further than removing the cover to see whats inside. It was reassembled and still works.

I needed some diethyl ether for a flower extraction, so I got some cans of diesel starting fluid that contain ether, naptha, and CO2 as the propellant. I set up for simple distillation and collected sufficient ether for my soxhlet extraction.
