I've had this song in the works for about a year and a half. Think I finally got to a somewhat-finished, play-all-the-way-through-able point.

Lyrics:
So you carve out a place for yourself at the edge of it all
In the side of a mountain, old and tall
Where the air is clear and all the creatures run
Start a new routine free from everyone

Where is my home

I have come to accept all the things I had once denied
My careless heart doesn't break for the ones I will leave behind
And my mother continues to cry in bed
Wishing still for a life that she maybe could've had

Where is my home

Now I long for a joy that once flourished within me
Running wild through the pines, I could hold all my memories
And my friends are all worried my choices were not wise
Tell them all I'll be back to myself in a little while
