The book we were reading is one I recently thrifted, called, "The Story of the Root Children" by Sibylle Von Olfers. It's about little babies who live underground near the roots of trees. They sleep all winter and Mother Earth wakes them up to prepare for springtime by sewing colorful dresses for themselves and painting beetles and all sorts of other sweet things. So magical!
The music is an instrumental version of a song about my daughter that I'm working on a full video for. Hoping to have that done really soon! But in the meantime, I thought I'd share this little preview.
