Very proud moment for me tasting the Coconuts I planted with Fabian our gardener in PNG. Insane the growth they have here, considering my 4year old coconut tree in Australia is only 2meters tall :(
Unsure what variety they are, as is a big problem in Papua New Guinea it's extremely difficult to pin down species names.
I know there are some Malaysian varieties dwarf and red throughout PNG as well as a Samoan variety introduced by Queen Emma in the late 1800's, so if I had to guess that is what it could be.
