Day 3 of the 12 days of editing challenge! I really wanted to make a romance video to enter into the GMV Awards, but I also really wanted to make my sister an early birthday gift - and what better gift than to give her a video with her other Inquisitor and other main squeeze from DA:I?
I tried to get this uploaded yesterday (as per the 12 days of editing challenge), but I had some issues rendering this so... maybe a pass? Eh, well I'm not too worried about it.
But oh my gosh, I'm so so proud of this video. I love how it flows and I feel like I really did their relationship justice. Cullen and the Inquisitor's relationship is incredibly heartwarming and I think there's something beautiful about finding someone who becomes your home.
But lets get onto the important part of this description:

This was made for FriendsAreMyPowers GMV Character WORM. We had to choose a character that we really connect with and a song that suits both of you. I connect with Ignis because he would do absolutely everything in his power to protect the ones he loves, even if it meant sacrificing himself. But we also refuse to back down without a fight and even if we get knocked down well still get back up.
I also used this as an excuse to play with effects (which I dont do often). It was actually pretty fun even if it isnt really my style of editing.

So, this happen. Not super excited about it, but I still like it. Originally, I had an idea for a Dragon Age video with my inquisitor but alas I have no capture card. So instead, I wanted to try out a crossover ship with Round 1 of The Prompt Contest.
The theme that I had was: There was a time before all of this.
Story:
Kara and Adam were in a relationship and were happy together. But both of them were terrified of being in a relationship and were afraid of being hurt so they sabotaged their own relationship. Even though they were terrified they still miss being together.
Adam is trying to move on, but he knows that whatever new relationship he has will never be as good as the one he had with Kara.

Since I didnt level up with my last video this is my second attempt to level up to level 4. For this round my prompt was “You understand this is pretty hard to believe with the theme faith vs. doubt.
I didnt have as much time to hunker down and mask a whole lot of scenes (or maybe I was just being lazy lol), so I thought Id challenge myself to focus on manips over masking. Also create more of a trailer instead of a typical video. It was a fun challenge! :D
Story:
Lara, Joel, and Nathan have all found themselves stuck on an island, unable to escape for quite some time. Joel and Lara have seen other inhabitants, but all of them seem to be some sort of supernatural creature. Nathan doesnt believe them and questions if the isolation on the island is making them see things and instead suggests that they take one of the abandoned boats and try another escape attempt. While both Lara and Joel still believe that the creatures they saw do exist they agree to take a boat and try to escape - or find out the cause of these strange creatures. Will these three survivors somehow get past their doubts to deal with the supernatural creatures that theyre up against or is there really something else afoot on this island?
