Our animal care team works with more than just our animals! Some of our staff are regularly involved in conservation efforts outside of our facility. Keriann, one of our Animal Ambassador team members, conducts OspreyWatch research annually in which she and our OspreyWatch partners search the Lynnhaven River and collect data on breeding osprey, their nests, and chicks hatched in our area!
