We decide to camp for the weekend at Hagan Stone County Park, in Guilford County, NC for our annual Cookie Day this year.
This is a big tradition in Em's family, as family friends get together to make dozens and dozens of cookies. Most batches are double recipes, and everyone goes home with several tins full of cookies to give as gifts for Christmas.
The kids all have a blast playing with their "once a year" friends. This year Anderson brings his entire NERF arsenal and there is an epic battle outside while the cookies are being baked inside. Mike also brings his drone and flies it around, which then turns it into a fun target for the kids to practice with.
We had a great day and went back to Hazel where Anderson and Em had a wonderful time chatting and making S'mores.
