Rose is starting to feel the weight of a TimeLord's life weighing heavily on her, and she is starting to fall apart. So the Van Gogh reference is a turning point for Rose [that's why I included it], when Rose meet Van Gogh she discovered that the Doctor can't do anything to save Van Gogh's painful life so she begins to question if time travel is worth it.
I heard this song the other day while I was walking to my English class and it screamed Rose and Eleven, I wish I could have made it longer but I couldn't cut the song to the way I liked it. But I hope you like it no matter how short it is!
