Description:

This is a result from a dream I had a while ago, and I decided to incorporate it into a video. So, the story: What if the legend we all came to know and love was a lie? What if Merlin and Arthur both decided to leave Camelot; abandoning and escaping from their destiny? This shows why Merlin and Arthur both decide to leave. For Merlin: he leaves due to Arthur's ignorance and growing hatred for magic. For Arthur: he leaves due to his father's pressure, the weight of his duty, and the constant threat of his life due to his father's hatred towards magic. The first half (up to 1:18) is about Merlin and the rest is about Arthur. The sepia clips are meant to be memories. The beginning and ending quotes are suppose to be a contradiction to their actions because nothing is written in stone, and they proved that they could escape their destiny. I hope it makes sense, and I hope you all enjoy!
