Pa. state Rep. Joe Hohenstein urged colleagues to pass an amendment to his legislation that would give applicants the option to donate $5 to the Office for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing or the Shriners Hospitals for Children when they electronically renew their driver’s license, ID card, or vehicle registration. The amendment would also allow applicants to donate to fire and EMS companies.
