PA state Rep. Joe Hohenstein is working to end misconceptions about what the recent Education ImprovementTax Credit legislation means to families and schools in the commonwealth. The bill, which passed with bipartisan support, would not limit scholarship opportunities for students who wish to attend Catholic or private schools. Not one penny of this fund would be diverted or taken away from the students who benefit from it. The legislation would provide much needed oversight and transparency into who is donating to this program and how the money is being spent.
