This video explainer is based on a power point done by Robert Lyman, author of the report "Hogging Your Wallet" - offering some key points that Canadians need to know about. Robert Lyman is a retired energy economist. He was a federal public servant for 27 years, most of it working on the greenhouse gas-related policy files. He was also a diplomat for 10 years. He wrote in his report: "The total federal and provincial expenditures on climate measures over the period 2020 to 2030 as listed by the Canadian Climate Institute are $476 billion, or $47.6 billion per year and $11,900 per resident of Canada over the decade.
