One year ago this week, HMAS Hobart arrived at the Osborne Naval Shipyard for its upgrade program and the work has been progressing at pace ever since… with some big milestones on the way.
Under the Destroyer Capability Enhancement, the ship is receiving new state-of-the-art technology, integration of a Tomahawk cruise missile system and an upgraded Aegis combat system to increase capability. 💪

BAE Systems has announced successful trials for its Autonomous Tactical Light Armour System (ATLAS) Uncrewed Ground Vehicle (UGV). The trials are part of the ongoing development for a next generation modular autonomous land capability designed to support main battle tank or combat reconnaissance vehicle capabilities.
