This is the GoG version.

I did jump through the hoops to get this to run in a proper 16:9 resolution. It was a bit fussy to record, though.

They introduced ranking in this one. If my method gets the best ranking, great, but this isn’t a SA run. There’s plenty of videos out there if you want that. I actually wanted to have fun and some of these missions are quite awful, especially with how easily your cover gets blown in this one. The only rule I set for myself was not getting outright detected, though I do in the second to last mission for cinematic reasons I guess.

For Tracking Hayamoto: There is only one way to do this mission without just shooting everyone, it’s very rigid. I show an aggressive method because it’s a little faster, about 2 minutes faster, than the usual way shown in most other videos.

For Hidden Valley: Disguises only prevent the snipers from shooting you. You’re meant to weave between pillars and make it through to the end but in my opinion, the whole point of the Hitman games is its disguise mechanic, social stealth, and largely nullifying it during this Japan section is just a bad idea. I shoot the guards to save myself some tedious pain. This is repeated during the following mission.

For Shogun Showdown: There is no cutscene for escorting the girl out and using the bomb like that prevents you from doing so. There is a save during the level due to the timing involved with using the remote.

For Graveyard Shift: The office workers don’t react to bodies, though they are for some reason highly suspicious of guards. Almost more so than other guards. The method I used only works because of this apparent bug and it’s why I used it.

For Motorcade Interception: You’re required to use the anti material rifle to hit the target and this mission has civilians which spawn in random positions and the npcs move all over the map, making it a huge headache to do in a reliable fashion given that there’s only one perch you can realistically use. I shoot a bunch of guards because it’s easier/faster. This is one of the worst missions in the entire series.

For Temple City Ambush: The locations where you need to go are randomized. I save after the cutscene so I wouldn’t have to keep watching it. I had an issue with the cutscene not playing the voice overs correctly as well, which seemed to be fixed by fully restarting the game.
