According to witness who filmed the crime and called 911:
“Around 130pm Wednesday I was driving westbound on West Airport Blvd when I saw two vehicles in some kind of an altercation. Two vehicles were a grey Camry and a grey SUV. Two people, a man and a woman were outside of their vehicle appearing to be yelling at the Camry driver. The Camry reversed as indicated by the reverse lights, and turned left to go around the SUV in order to flee the location. As this was happening, the man and woman appeared to be returning to their vehicle, the man headed towards the driver side, and the woman headed to towards the passenger side. While the Camry was going around the SUV from the left side, Camry struck the male driver of the SUV and fled the scene southbound on Gillingham lane. The woman called 911 for Police and EMS. I also called 911. Precinct 1 constable was on scene first, followed by Sugarland PD, then by Sugarland Fire Dept and Sugarland EMS. There was also an off duty firefighter who came to help. The victim was on the ground screaming in pain, unable to move his legs, indicating possibly broken bones in his legs. Woman stated there was a female driver in the Camry and that she may have been on crack. She also said they were just driving from the eye doctor’s office and the Camry was following them. The victim was transported to an area hospital appearing in stable condition. I gave the woman and police the video i recorded to help with the investigation. “
