When we study the past, we’re dealing in probabilities — weighing sources, comparing explanations, asking which hypothesis best accounts for the data. That’s how we approach Caesar, Alexander, and every other figure in ancient history.
The resurrection is no different. The real question isn’t whether we can reach absolute certainty. The question is: does it explain the evidence better than the alternatives?
If something is historically very probable, what more are we demanding — and why?
