Most people equate dispensationalism with date-setting, looking for blood moons, red heifers, and news headlines that match biblical prophecy. But the truth behind Christian date setting is a little more interesting, and it did not start with the dispensationalists. This short clip provides some of the interesting history of date setting in Christian history. Ironically, many of these early date setters were postmillennialists, not premillennialists.
