Tilly @tillysshelf came on a flying visit and we got to chat about why I think she will love Books and Things Katie @katiejlumsden's book The Secrets of Hartwood Hall. We both love a bit of historical fiction and this has a flavour of gothic melodrama combined with enjoyably convincing historic detail like Victorian home nursing practices. And there is added pleasure to the book if you are a reader of Victorian novels like the two of us.
