Scallydandling about the books | One Moonlit Night - a scallydandle to Wales with Caradog Prichard @scallydandlingaboutthebook2711 | Uploaded May 2022 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
One Moonlit Night by Caradog Prichard is a short but extraordinary novel that manages to be dark, poetic, funny and warm-hearted.

It was published in 1961. I read the excellent 1995 translation by Philip Mitchell.

I was inspired to pick this up by #Dewithon22 which encouraged us to read Welsh literature in March. Thank you to Heather @TooManyHeathers for giving me that nudge. Dewithon is led by Paula the Book Jotter via her blog bookjotter.com/2018/03/26/dhq-dewithon19
